If you and/or your kids want to learn to play a musical instrument, keep reading ...

El Paso has a new music school to look forward to. Let There Be Rock School is opening their second location inside Hero Music in the Zaraplex Mall, located at 1700 N. Zaragoza. The original school remains open on El Pasos' west side.

Owner Pepe Clark would like to open as soon as possible, (perhaps even as soon as today), but the ever-present threat of continued and/or new city-mandated restrictions on which businesses are or are not "essential" could force him to delay things. Whether he does that sooner than later remains to be seen but, in a perfect world, an official grand opening celebration could take place November 30th.

Pepe ... owner, operator, and founder of both schools ... is a lifelong El Pasoan, who has spent pretty much his entire life both in El Paso and Juarez. He left the Borderland to pursue his musical dreams and that landed him in the drummers' seat for the band  Kyng. (Check out one of their videos above and learn more about them here.) When he wasn't handling Kyng related business, recording sessions, or world tours; he opened the first Let There Be Rock School at 3945 Doniphan Park Cr. That location will soon have a "sister" school on the east side, both of which will be staffed by an exceptionally talented and experienced group of instructors.
