Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Laredo were doing their usual thing at the World Trade Bridge, checking vehicles crossing into Mexico, when they pulled aside a tractor-trailer for inspection. Nothing out of the ordinary there. The driver even reportedly said there was nothing to declare. Cool, great, love that.

Except, during the inspection, officers found something very much worth declaring:

In this case, the driver was hit with more than $34,000 in penalties, and both the truck and trailer were seized. Investigators are still looking into the situation.
