KLAQ Handicap Returns To Sunland Park Racetrack And Casino

Live horse racing is coming back to Sunland Park Racetrack And Casino and with it comes the 35th running of the KLAQ handicap and your chance to win $$.

The 2025 - 2026 horse racing season at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino begins Friday, (1/2/26) at noon. Live races are held January - April, check out the racing schedule here.

The KLAQ Handicap is Sunday, January 4th, keep reading to find out how you can watch it with me and win $100.

The winning part is easy, just listen this week for your cue to call in - 915-910-4995. If you are the correct caller, you and a guest will join me, Dubba G, at the KLAQ table for a delicious, (FREE), lunch ... your alcohol is on you but soft drinks are up for grabs ... and I'll hook you up with a $10 dollar bet.

How Do I Win $100?

I'll give you $10 to bet on the KLAQ Handicap any way you choose. Put it all on one horse to win, do a win, place, show, set up a trifecta ... whatever you want; it's your bet. If your bet wins the most $$ out of all 10 KLAQ winners, you get another Benjamin's worth to bet. Simple.

The track expert will be by to answer any questions you may have and/or you can consult with your guest or other winners. Just don't ask me. Seriously, I have a terrible track record when it comes to betting on these things. Unless you want to just bet against me. That's probably the closest thing to a sure thing you'll ever get.
