Comedian John Oliver Rips San Antonio Daytime TV Show
Comedian John Oliver unleashed his wit on the most recent episode of his HBO show on a Texas daytime television show.
His popular HBO Max series "Last Week Tonight" is often in the news for making cutting remarks about politicians and generally anybody John Oliver thinks is funny
According to a report from MySanAntonio.com, this now includes the popular hosts of a San Antonio-based daytime television show creatively called "Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban," which also airs in Corpus Christi, Beaumont, Abilene, San Angelo, El Paso, and other markets across the state.
FOX29's lifestyle show, Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban is regularly becoming a fixture on the popular HBO series.
Apparently, John Oliver and his producers edited a montage of some of the most awkward moments that could be experienced by any television personality, while on-air.
Throughout the series of quick clips, it is painfully obvious that Kimberly and Esteban don't have that much practice in making small talk or idle chatter.
"At one point, Esteban reacts to conversations with the phrase “true story” at least seven times."
Also, this isn't the first time the comedian has poked fun at the lone Star State. In previous episodes, he's taken the texas-based gas company, Valero, to task over racist practices, and he even took out ads for members of Congress the most clicked of which was for erotic fanfiction of Texas senator Ted Cruz.
