Dr. Jill Biden, Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden's wife, will be in El Paso on Tuesday to promote early voting in the Lone Star State. Early voting begins Tuesday, October 13th in Texas and to kick off people heading to the polls, Dr. Jill Biden will be campaigning. Dr. Biden will be making stops in El Paso, Dallas, and Houston on Tuesday to encourage people to vote early for the November 3rd election.

Joining Dr. Jill Biden in El Paso to promote early voting will be Congresswoman Veronica Escobar and former Congressman Beto O'Rourke. Dr. Biden will be in El Paso at 10:30 a.m. for an event but the exact location hasn't been announced yet by the Biden campaign. After her stop in El Paso, Dr. Biden will travel to Dallas and Houston to campaign with other Texas congressmen and women.

While in Dallas, Dr. Biden will campaign with Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, Congressman Marc Veasey, Congressman Colin Allred, and Congressional candidate Candace Valenzuela. While in Houston, Dr. Biden will campaign with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. All three events will follow COVID-19 safety protocols and masks are required.

According to the Texas Tribune, a new poll released Friday shows President Donald Trump is leading in the polls by 5% in the state. The president has 50% of the state's likely voters compared to Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden's 45%, according to the poll's findings.
