Corn Maze Season Ending: Last Weekend for Stalks and Photo Ops at Two El Paso-Area Corn Mazes
It’s a wrap on fall fun after this weekend at two of the three El Paso-area corn mazes.
El Paso’s Corn Maze and Mesilla Valley Maze are shutting down the corn stalks and seasonal photo ops after this Sunday, so if you’ve been meaning to get lost but haven't gotten around to doing it, you are running out of time and options.
El Paso’s Corn Maze
Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28-29, is the last weekend to get an earful of corny weekend fun and adventure at El Paso’s Corn Maze.
The farm is located on Nuevo Hueco Tanks Blvd making it especially convenient for eastsiders who don’t want to make the trek to New Mexico where the other two area corn mazes are located.
Mesilla Valley Maze
El Pasoans who live on the west side or don’t mind the drive to the Land of Enchantment for smiles and sunshine can hit up Mesilla Valley Maze in Las Cruces for one last a-maze-ing weekend of pumpkins, scarecrows, and hay bales Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28-29.
The farm will close out the 2023 season with the 15th Annual New Mexico Pumpkin Festival featuring live music throughout the day, a pumpkin pie eating contest, and the Tour de Maze -- a fun-to-watch adults-only tricycle race.
La Union Maze
La Union Maze on Highway 28 in La Union, New Mexico will remain open this weekend and the next, shutting down the corn stalks and pumpkin sales on November 5.
Their 2023 season will end with fireworks and pumpkin smashing on Saturday the 4th, and Bring Your Dog to the Maze Day on the 5th. BYD to the Maze is exactly what it sounds like; all well-behaved doggos are welcome to walk through the maze that day.
