This month the Texas Department of Public Safety needs your help locating this criminal.

Raul Herrera, Jr.

Herrera is a Hispanic male, 5' 8", 190 pounds, he is 53 years old and has tattoos on his chest and both arms.

His aliases include: Herrea Raul Garza Jr., Raul Garza, Raul Herrera Garza, Raul Herrera-Garza Jr., Raul Herrera, Raul Garza Herrera, Raul Garza Herrera Jr.

Herrera is wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member, and Violation of Bond/Protective Order.

Herrera is considered Armed and Dangerous

Herrera is affiliated with the Tango Vallucos gang and has had connections with the Texas Syndicate gang.  He has ties to Hidalgo County and McAllen Texas.  In 1990 he was convicted of two counts of Aggravated Assualt and sentenced to 10 years.  In 2002, he was Federally convicted of Conspiracy to possess with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Felon in Possession of Firearm.  He was sentenced to eleven and nine years served concurrently.   In 2014, he received another conviction, and this time for Money Laundering, this conviction Herrera received 3 years.   In May of 2023, Hidalgo County issued warrants for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault Causes Bodily Injury of a Family Member, and Violation of Bond/Protective Order, and currently wanted.
