What is your favorite view?

Ironically, as someone that grew up in the desert and currently lives nowhere near any natural water sources, I am partial to a beautiful lake, waterfall, or any other type of water.

Ideally, I would love to live on a lake and get to enjoy the water every day. Until then, I will have to put together a few road trips with friends to visit the beautiful sights around Texas. There are so many breathtaking views that deserve some appreciation.

While Texas is often recognized for football, barbecue, and oil, what many people don't realize is that the Lone Star State should also be known for its waterfalls, swimming holes, mountains, and caverns.

So, if you are looking for a fun trip to enjoy with friends and take in the stunning views, these are 12 of the most beautiful views in Texas that you can enjoy.
