A terrible tragedy in Temple, Texas left 2 dead and 1 injured. 

MASSIVE OVER-SIZED LOAD RTAVELING DOWN TEXAS HIGHWAY

As an 18-wheeler carrying a massive, oversized load, was driving down Highway 36, something began to go wrong. While traveling down the road, the 350,000-pound load disconnected from the truck.

It is unknown what the particular piece of equipment is, however, it is incredibly large and long.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT PINS DOWN VEHICLES NEARBY

The massive load tipped over onto another vehicle that was traveling nearby. The vehicle, which had 3 passengers inside, was pinned down by the incredibly heavy and oversized load.

Two of the passengers were killed in the accident. The third passenger was alive but pinned inside the vehicle. Temple Fire and Rescue responded to the terrible scene with 10 units and 25 personnel.

A LONG RECOVERY EFFORT


According to emergency servicesit took nearly 4 hours to safely remove the driver from the vehicle. Once extracted, the driver was flown to the emergency room with life-threatening injuries.

One of the reasons I don’t like to be traveling around trucks like this 

This is so sad. We passed that truck at about 11:10ish in front of the airport. It was only running 45 mph. We pray for everyone involved. Many thanks to all the personal working scene today.
