2 Children And Their Mother Found In Apparent Murder-Suicide
A mother and her two precious children were heartbreakingly shot to death by her husband before turning the gun on himself.
A ROCKY MARRIAGE
Jessica Rose Olmos and 42-year-old Jose David Olmos had a rocky marriage. The couple had a history of domestic violence. Back in May, Jose was charged with assault after hitting Jessica and was ordered to have no contact with Jessica or her son, Daniel.
However, Jessica and her two children had recently moved back in with Jose to try and reconcile their marriage. Lt. James Clements explained, “Jessica had recently returned to the home to reconcile the marriage to try to make it better and the children also lived in the home at the time."
POLICE WALK RIGHT INTO THE DEVASTATING SCENE
However, in a heartbreaking turn of events, Jessica and both of her children were found dead in their home. A family member called 911, alerting Amarillo police of some type of emergency.
When police arrived at the home, they walked into a devastating crime scene. Laying on the ground with fatal gunshot wounds was Jessica and two children, Daniel and Jazele. Jose Olmas was also found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police believe Jose David Olmos fatally shot and killed Jessica Rose Olmos and her two children, then turned the gun, killing himself.
