I Really Need to Try This Texas Dairy Queen Secret Menu Item

Let’s talk about two things I love – Dairy Queen and secret menus. 

Admittedly secret menus aren’t nearly as secret as they were before the internet came around. But the upside is that more people can enjoy the goodness not listed on the menu. 

And if it wasn’t for the internet, there would be a whole lot of treats I wouldn’t be aware of. In fact, I’ve gotten in the habit of googling secret menu items for restaurants I love over the last few years.

My way of seeing it is that if you dig a restaurant, you pretty much have to try everything on (and off) the menu that appeals to you at some point. Variety is the spice of life, right? 

That’s why I had to share the TikTok video propping up a Dairy Queen secret menu item. 

While most fast-food chains’ menus are tailored to different regions, Dairy Queen takes it to another level. I learned while in the Navy that their menu on the East Coast is very different than the menu here in Texas. 

And the menu in this neck of the woods is far superior, in my opinion. 

Sorry, I digress. Since Dairy Queen locations outside of Texas are heavy on their unique frozen treats, you can probably get the “Cupcake in a Cup” at any location, but I’m not 100% sure. But asking for it would certainly be worth a try.
