Iron Maiden Will Return To El Paso in 2022
Yes you read that correctly: today Iron Maiden made the announcement that they are coming to El Paso. Their "Legacy of the Beast World Tour 2022" kicks off next year in September & the first stop on their North American leg of the tour will be right here in El Paso.
Iron Maiden released their new album "Senjutsu" back in September & after having to reschedule their European tour dates for next year in the summer, they have announced the fall dates for their North American Tour; the tour will last throughout the months of September & October. The first date on the tour is September 11th, 2022, right here in El Paso, TX at the Don Haskins Center. In addition to Iron Maiden performing, Trivium will also open up on the same night.
It's been way too long since Iron Maiden has been to El Paso. They frequented El Paso many times in the past: rocking the El Paso County Coliseum in '81, '82 '83, '85, twice in '87, '99, & then in 2000 at the Don Haskins. You can hear audio from the 1987 show down below:
The last time they came to rock the Sun City was back in 2003: August 18th at the Don Haskins during their "Give Me Ed...Til I'm Dead" tour. The over 18 year wait will finally end as Iron Maiden returns to the Don Haskins Center next year.
