How Netflix and I Spent Easter 2020
Thanks to the pandemic, my daughters and I weren't together on Easter Sunday for the first time in their entire lives.
It was a little weird being alone but, it reminded me of my friends in the military, (thank you for your service!), those who are in touring bands and those often on the road. They miss these special days all the time so, I guess my missing only one in a couple of decades is nothing.
Anyway, I spent the day with my new best friend Netflix and my old buddy Coors Light. Here's the days' lineup:
- That Little Ol' Band From Texas (ZZ Top bio - 50 years later, same 3 guys. Wow.)
- Angel Has Fallen. Predictable but, still cool. (Extra points for lots of shooting.)
- Better Call Saul. Probably how I would have done had I stuck with Law School.
- Dinner. (Nothing fancy...ramen and more beer)
- Lights out.
A weird Easter but, on the upside, I learned a lot about ZZ Top and discovered what became of the singer from Spinal Tap, (He's Saul's brother and he kinda turned into an ass.)
I have some great ideas for the next time I go shooting too!
