Sometimes in El Paso when it rains, it pours to the point that some areas have a flood. It's scary for us as a desert city where most of the time we get rain that lasts for 5 minutes.

Paradigm84 was showing the central area near downtown and how the drainage system doesn't work that well. The streets in that area were beyond flooded that left El Pasoans driving slower than the actual speed limit. I have no shame declaring our city has bi-polar weather one day it's hot as hell then a cold front the next. Lately this month we have been seeing some stormy days where some areas are lucky to get rain and some not so much rain. It's good to have it rain in our city but not to the point like above where it's dangerous or disastrous. Now if you feel you want to prepare ahead of time, you can pick up sandbags at these locations.

Hopefully El Paso continues seeing some stormy showers minus the flooding part!
