This Saturday, you can hear first-hand tales of the horrors of the Holocaust from survivor Eva Schloss. Schloss is also known as being Anne Frank's step-sister. The name Eva Schloss has been in the news recently, as someone who is willing to tell her tale to teach others about the horrors she faced. Eva Schloss is a Holocaust survivor, humanitarian, peace activist, and teacher to those who need to learn more about the Holocaust. She is also the step-daughter of Otto Frank, father of famous Holocaust victim Anne Frank.

In the news recently, a group of high schoolers from California was pictured at a party playing drinking games while giving the Nazi salute. Many in their community and around the nation condemned the photo and disciplinary action was also taken against the group. Eva Schloss met with those teens and sat down with them and their parents to tell them her story, how almost her entire family were murdered by the Nazis and how she survived. Schloss said that the teenagers apologized to her for their actions and she hopes to speak to more people like this and bring more awareness to the issue of hate and hate groups.

Those students had the honor to sit down and meet with someone who is a true survivor and a living piece of history and you can hear Eva Schloss speak too.
