Helpful Tips on Moving During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The stress level of moving from one place to another is so high for many. Early this year, I finally moved out of my parent's home an bought my own place. Not only did I get to finally own my place, but I also developed shingles.
I am a 28-year-old woman who developed shingles early because I was beyond stressed moving into a new home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only was I stressed about getting my new place together, but I was terrified of my family or friends getting sick.
Oh, I forgot to mention I also completely just threw out my wedding plans because I seriously couldn't take any more stress.
Fast forward to September, I am a married woman and now comfortably settling into my new home. I didn't even think of moving service at the time, due to the pandemic just starting out but now, all precautions are being taken by many moving companies to help out El Paso residents.
According to a survey done back in early July by PewResearch.org, 22% of adults moved or know someone who moved during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now this affected Hispanics 28% of the group that moved were Hispanic.
