El Paso! Animal Services needs your help saving the kittens! According to Animal Services it's "kitten season" in the Sun CIty and that lasts until November, so for the next seven months they'll be busy with kittens. A spokesperson told KTSM that last week alone, 135 kittens were placed into foster homes, that's 135 kittens that didn't have to be put down! The shelter currently gets 35 kittens a day and since these kittens are too small to be adopted, space is becoming limited for the other kitties that need to be adopted. That's where you come in. Becoming a foster is like adopting without the commitment. Josette Flores told KTSM that fostering is great for her because of her traveling schedule and the best part? Animal services provides you with dried/canned food, training pads and vaccinations for the kittens. The kittens are already eating on their own, and trust me, with as many cats as I've had it's a great moment when they eat on their own! The application process is simple, and can be done online or in person.
