If you're a Texan and a photographer, whether it be amateur or professional, listen up! Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is looking for your amazing photos of Texas. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who you may know from movies like "10 Things I Hate About You", "The Dark Knight Rises" and "(500) Days of Summer" is taking on a new project: HitRecord.

HitRecord is an online collaborative media platform founded and owned by actor and director Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The company uses a variety of media to produce such projects as short films, books, and DVDs. It's basically like an Instagram where you can upload your content be it a song, artwork, short story anything of that nature. The difference here is that when you upload your project, you share it with other content creators and the main objective is to collaborate with other creators. Which is exactly what this amazing Texas project is about.

A photography prompt created by Matt Conley on HitRecord's website states the simple task: "Post a photo you took in Texas". Simple as that. The photography prompt already has over one thousand pages of photos from collaborators everywhere. The Texas pride is strong here and you have the opportunity to showcase your pride and talent with other collaborators.

You can upload your photo by clicking here. You can also explore the entire HitRecord community and look at other projects and collections that have been completed.

While flipping through some of the pages, I did notice that some amazing El Paso pictures were missing. If you've taken a picture around El Paso that you're really proud of, shot it off and upload it to this project! Again, you can upload your photo to the "Pride of Texas" project here.
