Go Gold Parade Wave: Honors Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
The best feeling in the world is being able to put a smile on a child's face. There are some childhood cancer heroes who are eager to see YOUR face at the Go Gold Parade Wave. This parade is in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The Gold Out El Paso group are families who have a child that is diagnosed with cancer. Cancer doesn't just affect the child who has it but the family who also goes through the motion with their brave child. Since it is Childhood Cancer Awareness month the Gold Out El Paso group planned something special for the kids at El Paso Children's Hospital. There will be a lot of participants at the Go Gold Parade Wave for the kids with cancer. There will be family, friends, and the El Paso Police Department a part of this great deed. The parade wave will be held on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 pm.
The parade will end up on the 5th floor of the visitor's parking garage. You will be able to make as much noise as you can and wave back to the kids. The only kind of battle any kid should experience is a sword battle with their friends. But unfortunately, that isn't the case for some children. A high school friend of mine has been going through the toughest battle of seeing her son giving his best fight. You can make a difference by joining the parade to show some love to the childhood cancer heroes who are fighting cancer back.
