Global Marijuana March Happening This Saturday at San Jacinto

If you're an advocate for the legalization of responsible marijuana use and the legalization of marijuana in Texas, then you're not going to want to miss out on this weekends march in Downtown El Paso!

El Paso Norml is hosting the Global Marijuana March this Saturday, May 8th, at San Jacinto Plaza. Meeting at noon and march begins at 1 P.M., you will meet at San Jacinto Plaza at the corner of San Antonio and Campbell with other advocates and supporters and march towards the El Paso County Jail/ El Paso County Courthouse/ Federal Courthouse. Once there, guest speakers will take a moment to inform and educate everyone.

This year's speakers include:

• Daryoush Austin Zamhariri- Founder and Chief Editor of the Texas Cannabis Collective
• Michael Castro- leader and mind behind LegalizEP.
• James Riddle- award-winning educator and scholar, and the best-selling author of the Complete Personalized Promise Bible series.
• Marlene Armendariz Jessup of Ambary Health Southwest

The march will continue back to San Jacinto Plaza. An after party will follow at 4 P.M. at 501 Bistro that will include both DJ and live music, comedy acts, and food trucks!

Marchers are highly encouraged to bring signs, water, sunscreen, strollers or wagons for kids. And most of all, bring your enthusiasm!

This is a great event where great information will be provided and a great chance to educate the public in order to legalize the responsible use of cannabis by adults.
