Over the weekend, Papa Emeritus IV teased fans that there was a big announcement coming for Ghost fans. In a "Doom" call, Papa talked with Sister Imperator and discussed how he's getting his new look together, possibly for a new tour. Papa Emeritus left the call telling fans "see you soon."

Now, this morning the band dropped the news that his new look is for a new tour, and they're heading out with another major band. Ghost will be heading out in 2022 on a co-headlining tour with the Danish rockers Volbeat. The bands will launch the tour on January 25th, 2022 in Reno, Nevada and the tour will wrap up at the beginning of March in California.

The Ghost and Volbeat co-headlining tour will be in El Paso on Monday, February 28th at the Don Haskins Center. Support for this show is the rock duo Twin Temple. Tickets for this concert will go on sale this Friday, September 24th at 10 a.m.local time through the Ticketmaster website. There will also be multiple presales available throughout the week.

All this week, KLAQ will be having Win-It-Before-You-Can-Buy-It chances for listeners to win tickets to see Ghost and Volbeat. For your chance to win, listen to us on-air or online or check out the KLAQ mobile app.

Volbeat said they're excited to be heading out on tour again, per Metal Injection:

"We are so incredibly excited to get back to these cities with a Volbeat headline show, but getting to do it alongside a headline show from our ghoulish friends in Ghost and bringing the incomparable Twin Temple with us? How soon will it be January already!? Start getting ready, the thunder and lightning is coming to your town in 2022."
