Epic Shark Tank Found Inside this Texas Furniture Store

I've written about the beloved Texas icon that is Mattress Mack several times before. In all the times I've written about him, it's always been about what an amazing human being he is, but never have I actually looked into his furniture store- turns out, it's pretty epic!

That's because at Furniture Gallery in Houston, Texas, which is one of Mattress Mack's stores, there's a huge shark tank right inside!

First of all, the Furniture Gallery showroom is huge!

But this location isn't just known for it's amazing deals and the iconic Mattress Mack, this shark tank seems to be one of the main attractions!

That's right, there's a legit shark tank inside this furniture store. This isn't just a basic tank- this is a state-of-the-art 30,000 gallon shark tank that is currently inhabited by five bamboo sharks and two broad-banded cat sharks in addition to 50 other fish species!

According to Chron.com, the tank is maintained by Aquarium Design Group's Sean Barnett and Roy Williams- who make sure the sharks, and the other fishes, are swimming along well while in captivity.

When the store first opened in 2015 with the tank, it made huge news because who has ever seen a shark tank in the middle of a furniture store? But it looks like the tank is well maintained and that it was created with the sharks and fishes well-being in mind.

The tank is just one of the things that everyone loves about the store; it comes second to the beloved man himself, Mattress Mack! The locals, and I think all Texans at this point, love him and everything that he has done for the community- and you have to admit, the shark tank is pretty badass.

By the way, Mattress Mack was recently hospitalized but is on the road to recovery!
