Free Starbucks Reusable Cups to Mark Return of Holiday Cups
Winter is coming. Winter can only mean one thing. It's that time of year again, time to see what controversy is stirred with the introduction of Starbucks' holiday cups. After a series of teaser Tweets, Starbucks announced that their holiday cups will be released on Thursday, Nov. 7th. This year Starbucks is unveiling not one, not two but FOUR "seasonal" designs along with releasing their holiday drinks. Check out the cups below.
The theme here is "Merry Coffee" which I'm sure is going to upset someone. The seasonal drinks that will also be available on November 7th are the Peppermint Mocha, the Chestnut Praline Latte, Eggnog Latte, Toasted White Chocolate and the Caramel Brulee Latte. That peppermint mocha is my favorite, it tastes like Christmas in a cup.
Along with releasing their holiday cups and drinks, just like last year, Starbucks will be giving out FREE reusable holiday cups at stores for anyone who orders a holiday beverage! The free reusable cups will be available once the store opens continuing until they run out. You may want to plan on heading out to get your free reusable cup early because last year they did run out in a matter of minutes and people were not happy.
In years prior, Starbucks has upset holiday, I mean Christmas, Christmas lovers. Starbucks unveiled holiday cups in 1997 but it wasn't until 2015 when the "war on Christmas" heightened. Since then, consumers have just not been happy with Starbucks' lack of Christmas representation on their holiday cups. Despite Starbucks' best efforts, I'm sure this year someone will find a way to be mad about the holiday cups, we'll just have to wait and see what that controversy is this year. Happy holidays!
