Forget Roses! Get Alpacas for Valentine’s Day Instead
Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Valentine's day is on Sunday this year (in case you forgot! This is your sign) and while many will go the usual route of flowers and chocolates- why not try something different this year, like alpacas?
That's right, alpacas, not to be confused with llamas- which they are similar to. This year, alpacas can be the ones to show your loved ones how much you care about them. El Pasoan Meghan Arriola, who is an expert on animal care and safety at Happy Trails, is offering "alpaca grams" for Valentine's day, wherein two alpacas go to your residence and surprise your valentine!
The "alpacagrams" will take place on Friday, Feb. 12th- where the alpacas can meet your Valentine and take pictures and get to learn more about the mammals. Meghan is also offering photo sessions with her two alpacas, who are named Camilo and Eclipse, for families on Saturday at San Jacinto Plaza. Meet Camilo:

As of the time of this writing, Meghan did let me know that she is all booked up for Friday's alpacagrams, however she did say that she is considering adding another day- Monday- for alpacagrams. As for the photo sessions with families at San Jacinto Plaza, there's still limited spots open. You can find out more by sending Meghan a message through her Facebook.
You can also see videos, and learn more about alpaca care by checking out Meghan's YouTube channel where you can get a great look at Camilo and Eclipse!
Again, get more information by messaging Meghan on her Facebook and happy Valentine's day!
