Pure Emo presents the "Not So Silent Emo Night" at Mona Bar of Modern Art at 410 1/2 E San Antonio Ave., on Saturday, December 10!

Emo Nights have become quite popular, and if you're like me and didn't get tickets to When We Were Young Fest (yes, I'm still salty about it!) then Emo Night is totally up your alley.

Hosted by DJ Emo Eric and DJ Killjoy, this is sure to be the holiday even you won't want to miss out on.

If you're unfamiliar with an Emo Night, well a quick search will help you fill in all the gaps.

It's basically a night for all of us to relieve the glory days of when we first heard "Ohio is For Lovers". This video is of the big Emo Night that usually happens in New York or Los Angeles, and that usually gets big guests! But this one has spawned emo nights all over the world.

El Paso has its very own local Emo Night at Love Buzz, located in the Five Points neighborhood, they call it "Taking Back Wednesdays" (get it?!) because it happens on Wednesday.

I've yet to go to a Taking Back Wednesdays at Love Buzz, not because I'm not interested, but because it's in the middle of the week and I have to get up early for work!
