El Pasoans Have One Last Chance To Shop At Food City Fox Plaza

Food City Fox Plaza will be open for one last time today, August 10th and the public is invited to shop one last time before the family-owned grocery store closes its doors for good.

Back in July, the iconic El Paso family-owned grocery store made the shocking announcement that they would be shutting down their Fox Plaza location so they can focus more on their family.

Store owners said the decision to close this iconic location was tough, but it was something that needed to be done. They stressed that they would continue to leave their other two store locations open and they would have more energy to make these stores better.

In late July, the store held a “Farewell Fiesta” for customers, vendors, and employees to share their appreciation for all the love they showed the store throughout the years.

The store shared a post on their Facebook page announcing that the final day they would be open to the public would be Wednesday, August 10th.

Customers are invited to shop one last time before the beloved grocery store shuts its doors for good.

Customers can enjoy 50% off the entire store. The store’s bakery and deli section will still be open to the public as well.

Food City Fox Plaza is located at 5400 Alameda. Store hours for this location are 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Food City’s other locations are located at Ranchland Mall at 7444 Gateway East/Hunter and 3200 Alameda and Star.
