Lately we've seen a lot of people from El Paso make television appearances in the last year & if you've been watching Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, one of the contestants has been representing El Paso since March.

Tengo Talento Mucho Talento is a Spanish TV show on Estrella TV that showcases people's singing talents, much like The X Factor or The Voice. Tengo Talento Mucho Talento has been around since 2009 & is on its 17th season. The latest season started in March & featured all female singers in celebration of Women's History. Last night they announced the final 4 contestants moving onto the final round... one of them is from El Paso...

Meet Gisselle Lopez, She's the lead singer from the El Paso rock-mariachi band Tribes & a vocal instructor for the music school, Sound Stage 9. Gisselle is also moving on to the finals alongside Daisy Olvera, Fatima Guilhoux & Issabella Molina. If you haven't seen her perform on the show this year, here's a sample:

Believe it or not, this is not the first time Gisselle Lopez appeared on Tengo Talento Mucho Talento. In fact she appeared on season 14 in 2016 AND she made it all the way to the final round back then as well.

I know this year Gisselle's going back for redemption & the final episode airs this week & you can vote on the Tengo Talento Mucho Talento Facebook. I speak for everyone from El Paso when we say "break a leg!"

Tribes will be part of this year's Cool Canyon Nights & you can also hear Tribes on Q Connected, Sunday nights, 10pm to midnight, from 95.5 KLAQ.
