El Paso Weather: Get Ready For Two Seasons In One Week
Springtime is right around the corner but not before Winter makes one final appearance!
In true El Paso weather fashion, we’ll be dealing with a roller coaster of weather conditions these next few days so, be prepared!
Spring Time Winds:
We’ll start with those annoying Spring-like winds! While the winds won’t be as strong as what we experienced last month we’ll still have to deal with blowing dust and sand. Wind gusts are expected to reach 35 to 40 mph Thursday afternoon.
Winter Is Coming:
A cold front is expected to push through early Friday morning and that’s when Winter will make what we hope will be her final appearance until next winter season.
Friday’s cold front will drop down our afternoon temperatures to nearly 20 degrees! We’ll be going from the lower 70s on Thursday to lower 50s on Friday. Overnight temperatures will be below freezing Friday into Saturday so bundle up if you plan on being out late Friday night! This cold front could also bring chances for light rain.
Just Kidding, Spring Is Back:
And now let’s get back into Spring! Now, the official start of the Spring season isn’t until Sunday, March 20th but we’ll be feeling those warm spring-like temperatures before then.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach the 80s for the start of next week which will put us well above average for this time of the year.
So, bring out the coats this week then put them back and bring out the pool next week!
