El Paso Spray Parks Extend Hours & City Pools Set Dates to Open
The unofficial start to summer is just around the corner and the El Paso Parks and Recreation department is getting all El Pasoan's ready to get some relief from the heat by extending their hours to the spray parks and opening up local pools around the city.
The spray parks are now open from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M., they had previously been closed from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. for sanitization purposes. As for the outdoor pools, they will begin reopening in phases. Currently they are on phase one with the following outdoor pools opening on Monday, May 31st.
Grandview Aquatic Center at 3100 Jefferson Ave.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Pavo Real Aquatic Center at 110 Presa Pl.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
As for the aquatic centers, the following are open for lap swimming only, and reservations must be made.
