The El Paso Rhinos 2023 season is coming to an end and the team will be celebrating the end of the season the only way they know how to: The annual Teddy Bear Toss!

Every year Rhino fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals during the final games to toss them onto the ice.

The final two games will happen Friday, April 14th and Saturday April 15th. The Rhinos will show their appreciation to the best fans in junior hockey with Fan Appreciation
Night on Saturday and that is when the Teddy Bear toss is scheduled to happen.

This year’s Teddy Bear toss will be in memory of former UTEP professor, Joni Arnett, who was a well-respected member of the community.

“She was involved in many charities throughout her young life, and giving, especially to organizations that benefitted children, was very important to her,” said Rhino Officials.

Arnett tragically lost her life 16 years ago. All Teddy Bears collected on Saturday nights game will be donated to local children in need.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Coliseum Box Office.

With a valid Military ID Card or Veteran Identification Card, active and retired military personnel, veterans and their families receive free admission to all home games.

The game will feature giveaways by MT Needles and a free raffle with prizes from
Target, Hotel Paso del Norte, Massage Envy, Bel Viso of El Paso, Butterfield Golf Club, Chick-fil-A, and Unknot Thai Spa.

Mascots from local schools and community organizations will also be in attendance!
