Winterfest has officially started in Downtown El Paso, the temperature is a little cooler and caldo is now the only acceptable meal at dinner.

With the holidays arriving, and with tons of friends and families coming in to town, I know one of the biggest things I'm about to see on my social media are festive photos! And I love them! I'm so ready to see everyone's winter outfits, or their holiday lights (which we are hosting a contest for the best holiday light display- find all the details here).

Don't get me wrong, I love San Jacinto Plaza during the holidays; Winterfest is the highlight of the season complete with lights, music- and then there's the Rink (with real ice!).

It was the more obvious answer so I decided to leave it out. Winterfest is the biggest holiday display which is perfect for all the pictures you'll want to take- and it's full of events for everyone in the family. Winterfest is great for daytime photos, but the magic really happens when the sun goes down. Winterfest lasts through January 5.
