El Paso Has 302 Days of Sunlight Each Year On Average

El Paso aka the Sun City has a lot of bright and shiny days according to Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. I feel so lucky and proud to live in a city that has more sunny days than gloomy. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the other types of weather as long as I am indoors. The type of weather conditions that keep some of you and me indoors is snow and heavy rain.  Plus, I am not a fan of feeling really cold so I avoid it if I can. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy heavy rain and snow as long as I don't have to drive in it. But boy do I really love our hot and sunny days we do get to have! Recently, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts posted a fact about El Paso that made you do a double take like me. Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts definitely shed some light on a fun fact about El Paso. Our sun shines brightly about 3,763 hours every year! In fact, that means El Paso is in the top 10 sunniest cities in the world and state.
