An El Paso Filmmaker Is In Need Of A Little Help
An El Paso filmmaker has hit a snag while working on his locally filmed movie, Sunset Memory. A coming of age drama/love story with a comedic twist.
New Mexico State University graduate Pedro Espinoza has worked on many other projects, including documentaries and short films. Now, he's come up with his own movie but he needs a little help to finish it.
Espinoza, his cast and crew have spent $4,000 dollars on Sunset Memory so far and it looks like it will take another 4 grand to properly finish it up.
The film was in production for 8 days before the crew had to stop and begin trying to come up with more funds.
We have shot already half of the movie and we are aiming to finish the rest in April but we need your help! For those joining for the first time, this film is a local El Paso movie that I call a helping hand on the silver screen. I believe this movie can make a huge impact on the young working class. - indiegogo
Pedro's a pretty busy guy. In addition to pursuing his filmmaking dreams, he goes to work every morning at 3am, editing video for news channel 7, and then spends his afternoons coaching the Cathedral High School Cross Country team.
Where he finds the time and energy to do anything else, particularly something as demanding as making and editing movies, is beyond me. If you would like to chip in a few bucks to help him see this film through, please click here. The fundraising page currently shows $440 dollars raised.
