While many of us are still upset over the HUGE snub the "Blue Beetle" movie gave El Paso, many took delight in the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio's newest film, One Battle After Another, gladly displayed El Paso on the big screen.

The latest trailer for the action flick features Leo and Benicio Del Toro, both of whom spent a few weeks in El Paso filming the latest Paul Thomas Anderson film for Warner Bros. The highlight of the summer was spotting the actors throughout various locations in El Paso which included a lunch at Cafe Central and taking in an EP Chihuahuas game on their down time.

While most of the filming took place downtown, here are six Downtown El Paso locations you will definitely recognize when the movie comes out.

One Battle After Another follows Bob Ferguson, played by DiCaprio, who is a former member of a revolutionary group seeking help from other revolutionaries to find his missing daughter. The movie also stars Regina Hall, Sean Penn and Teyana Taylor.

Filming in El Paso took place in June of 2024 and was originally labeled as "BC Project" before the actual title was released.

With One Battle After Another, Downtown El Paso proves it’s ready for a starring role-  and hopefully, this is just the beginning! As more filmmakers discover the city’s unique charm and cinematic beauty, El Paso’s future in the spotlight looks brighter than ever.
