If you're finding it hard to locate some Dr. Pepper in your grocery store, you're not alone. First it was toilet paper, then the Lysol and Clorox wipes, then it was hair dye, now the pandemic has come for our beloved Dr. Pepper! I didn't believe it until I went for my essentials run and noticed not so much Dr. Pepper. Now, it seems the rumors are true, as Dr. Pepper themselves have addressed the shortage.

In a note on Twitter, Dr. Pepper said: We know it’s harder to find Dr Pepper these days. We’re working on it – hang tight! Note: This applies to all flavors of Dr Pepper – including our newest permanent addition to the family, Dr Pepper & Cream Soda. In the Tweet, Dr. Pepper also said they appreciate consumers' patience and encourage y'all to contact your local retailer for the most up to date availability of Dr. Pepper products.

In a response, toilet paper brand Charmin Tweeted their support telling Dr Pepper, “Welcome to the club. We feel Your pain.”

While the company told CNN that the low inventory is a result of a high demand of the product, because yes; it's a pandemic and we need our Dr. Pepper to get through it, the company didn't respond to the query about aluminum can shortage. Did you know that there's an aluminum can shortage?! You can find out more about that here. For the most part, if you're having trouble finding some Pepper, I guess this is the time to branch out to Dr. Thunder?
