Grab your furry family member and head over to Northeast El Paso for this year's Doggie Swim Days in September! Get ready to have some fun in the sun and water with your pooch at this year's dog swim weekend thanks to El Paso Parks and Recreation. The 11th annual Dog Days at Nations Tobin is happening from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. September 9th and 10th at the Nation Tobins pool in Northeast El Paso. Right before the pool closes for the season, EP Parks and Rec let the community come out for a fun day of swimming with their furry friends. This event is loads of fun with plenty of activities and prizes that are fun for both the dogs and humans involved. There will be a doggie paddle swim contest, cutest bathing suit contest, and a doggie splash contest!

Admission is only $2 per dog and humans are free! All you need to bring is a copy of your dog's shot record showing that they are up-to-date on rabies, distemper and parvo vaccinations. Is your pooch not up-to-date? The City of El Paso Animal Services will be having vaccinations on-site. No puppies under 6 months will be allowed. Dog adoptions will also be on-site for this event from Animal Rescue League and Animal Services so you can find a new family member too!

If you would like more information on this event, please call (915) 212-0397. Nation Tobins Pool is located in Northeast El Paso at 8831 Railroad Drive.
