Did You Know About This Texas Rapper’s Drinking Game?
While walking the aisles of a Lubbock Walmart, I spotted something I'd never seen before. A game featuring one of the most popular rappers in the industry who also happens to have grown up in Texas.
Post Malone was born in Syracuse, New York, but moved to Grapevine, Texas at nine years old when his father got a job as the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys. He grew up in Grapevine, attending Grapevine High School and eventually Tarrant County College before dropping out and pursuing music in Los Angeles.
I’ve been a fan of Post Malone for a while now, not only for his music, but also because he seems like a genuinely good guy. So, when I saw that he apparently has a game available at Walmart and on Amazon.com, I was intrigued.
The game is called ‘Post Malone’s World Pong League Party Game’ and it is a twist on the classic drinking game Beer Pong. It includes red and blue cups to mark the two teams, a pack of ping pong balls with the ‘WPL’ logo on them, an official rulebook, and an electronic shot clock featuring Post Malone’s voice saying things like, “Your night depends on this shot.”
While beer pong is an easy game to set up and play with a few Solo cups and ping pong balls, this could be a fun twist that is fun for the Post Malone lovers out there. It could also make for a great gift
