Ted Nugent has been wowing audiences around the globe for well over 50 years. From his early band The Amboy Dukes in the 60s to launching a solo career in 1975, to becoming one of the most famous guitarists in the world.

Those first four albums "Ted Nugent," "Free for All," "Cat Scratch Fever," and the live album "Double Live Gonzo" made The Nuge a household name and cemented his name in rock and roll history. My friends and I listened to Double Live Gonzo hundreds of times just to hear his rants between songs and all the great guitar solos. The rants back then were about girls and having a good time.

Nugent recently announced his last-ever tour called Adios Mofo "23": The Final Tour. The 74-year-old will only do 14 dates on the tour with two of the final shows being in Michigan. One show is August 9 in Saginaw at the Temple Theatre and the final show will be in Detroit at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre. One of the shows on the tour has been pulled with what looks to be social media pressure.

One show that was supposed to be on Nugents final tour was at the Avondale Brewing Co. in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 18. According to MLive, Avondale Brewing Co. was slammed on its Facebook and Instagram pages with mostly negative reactions from fans and the venue decided to pull the show mainly due to so many customers saying they would no longer support the venue.

Avondale Brewing Co. has cleaned its social media of any mention of the show and its comments.
