It's the perfect time of year for a bloody ale.

On October 13, Old Sheepdog Brewery will bring you an all new limited edition beer- the Deadboy Blood Ale all in honor of El Paso artist Deadboy.

But this isn't your ordinary launch, just as Deadboy isn't your ordinary character; this is a celebration, a spooky celebration!

This year's Spook Show takes center stage at Old Sheepdog Brewery, located at 3900 Rosa Ave., on Friday the 13th (how appropriate) and will be an entire spectacle in honor of Deadboy- and the artist behind Deadboy- Eddie Marquez.

Entry for the event is $5, but, because it is the Halloween season, and it IS a Spook Show, costumes are highly encouraged- and if you wear a costume, you get free entry!
The Spook Show will not only have the launch of the Deadboy Blood Ale, this spooktacular event will also feature screenings of some of the best classic horror movies ever: Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

You may have seen Deadboy maybe once or twice; Marquez even had a comic strip in the local publication What's Up.

Deadboy got its start there and it took off from there. These days, you can catch Marquez and Deadboy as they take their talents to art shows and festivals.

Join Eddie Marquez at Old Sheepdog Brewery at 3900 Rosa Ave. on October 13 as they release Deadboy Blood Ale and get into the Halloween spirit with some classic horror movies and a bloody good time. Find out more about the event here.

Happy hauntings!
