What's the most common nickname you can think of when thinking of the Dallas Cowboys? Well there's a lot that come to mind; of course the biggest one that comes to mind is about the team itself, “America’s Team”, which was given to the team after their 1978 highlight reel.

Another popular nickname is the “Doomsday Defense”, a nickname given to the Cowboys teams that would lead them to two Super Bowl victories: Doomsday I for Super Bowl VI & Doomsday II for Super Bowl XII. Of course the other nickname we've heard used for the Cowboys is "The Boys" or "Dem Boys".
