I'm about to confess something to you guys, because I don't want to lie to you; I have never been to Cracker Barrel. From the sounds of it, I'm apparently missing out. I'm sure I'd like Cracker Barrel if given the chance to eat there. I think one of the main reasons why I've never been to Cracker Barrel is that the only one we have in town is on the west side and I live in the northeast, there's not one conveniently on my side of town. One day, though, I aspire to visit; especially now that they're upping their fall menu.

Cracker Barrel announced that they are kicking off fall with an updated menu. Along with menu updates, the kid's menu will also be updated. Chicken Pot Pie will now be available every day. Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken. Also coming as options on their Down Home Daily Dinners section, are the Saturday and Sunday rotations of Country Fried Pork Chops and Pot Roast Supper, as well as Barrel Cut Sugar Ham that will be available with three sides.

Over on the kid's menu, they get some Mini Confetti Pancakes, Lil' Barrel Cheeseburgers, Dirt Cup Dessert, and Milk n' Cookies Straw, a cookies and cream milk straw that adds a sweet chocolatey flavor to any kid's milk purchase. Cracker Barrel will also be bringing back limited-time seasonal features like Carrot Cake, Peach Tea and Pumpkin Pie Latte. Those options are available through Oct. 11.

With all these delicious offerings, I feel the need  to get myself to the Cracker Barrel soon, especially because I hear their biscuits and corn bread are amazing.
