Closures This Week In El Paso For The Go 10 Project
Another week, and another list of street closures for El Paso. Find out what areas of El Paso will be impacted this week.
The City of El Paso is continuing to grow. To maintain this growth, construction is a necessary evil for people in the city. This week on the west side, there will be full closures of Interstate 10 causing severe congestion in the area. If you want to keep from getting stuck in traffic for awhile, make sure to avoid these areas this week during these times.
- I-10 East Flyover Entrance Ramp closed
- I-10 East one lane at Sunland Park
- I-10 West closed at Sunland Park
- DETOUR: Exit Sunland Park and re-enter at entrance ramp
July 18th
I-10 and Sunland Park (9p.m. to 6 p.m.)
- FULL CLOSURE at I-10 and Sunland Park
- DETOUR: Exit Sunland Park and re-enter next entrance ramp
- Sunland Park Drive Southbound closed between Mesa Hills and Machuca Road
- DETOUR: Take Mesa Street to Doniphan, then Doniphan to Sunland Park Drive
- South Desert Blvd closed from Thorn Ave. to Mesa Street
- I-10 East's North Mesa Exit ramp closed
July 19th
I-10 and Sunland Park (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- I-10 East closed at Sunland Park
- DETOUR: Exit Sunland Park and re-enter next entrance ramp
- Exit Sunland Park Drive Southbound closed between Mesa Hills and Machuca Road
- DETOUR: Take Mesa Street to Doniphan, then Doniphan to Sunland Park Drive
July 20th
I-10 and Sunland Park Drive (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- I-10 Eastbound CLOSED at Sunland Park Exit
- DETOUR: Exit Sunland Park and re-enter next entrance ramp
- Sunland Park Drive bridge over I-10 CLOSED
- DETOUR: Northbound traffic use Paisano to I-10 East, exit Executive, turn left on North Mesa and left on Sunland Park
- DETOUR: Southbound traffic use I-10 West, exit Resler and make a U-turn at Desert Pass Street and use Resler Entrance ramp to I-10 East
July 20th
I-10 and Mesa Street (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- I-10 West entrance ramp at Mesa will be CLOSED
- I-10 West will be ONE LANE from North Mesa Entrance ramp to Thorn Avenue
