Comedy shows are back in the Sun City and one of our favorite comics, Carlos Mencia, will be here in less than a month! Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, people have been cooped up at home and missing some of their favorite live events, like concerts, theaters, and comedy shows. Now, the city is beginning to open up, and live comedy shows are back at the El Paso Comic Strip. Now, Carlos Mencia will be back in the Sun City and this isn't a show you want to miss out on.

Carlos Mencia will be performing at the El Paso Comic Strip on October 22 through October 24th. There will be 7:30 pm shows and a 10 p.m. show Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $27.50 for general admission, VIP booths are $37.50, and meet and greet passes are also available for $47.50. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

The El Paso Comic Strip is open again and according to the venue's website, they will be taking some extra precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic:

"We have temporarily reduced our seating capacity to observe 6' social distancing. Using professional-grade products we are sanitizing all common areas prior to and immediately after every show. We have always and continue to serve beverage and food items in single-use disposable plastic cups and trays in our showroom."

The comedy club is also asking customers to wash/ sanitize their hands regularly for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching their face, and to cover their mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing. Find out more information on events, tickets, and their COVID-19 response at the Laff2Nite website.
