Starting Thursday, things are back to normal for Barnett Harley Davidson's Bike Night.

Last month, Bike Night at Barnett Harley Davidson was moved to Friday but that was a one time switch made to accommodate a special gathering of visiting motorcycle association members.

Starting this month, the monthly event returns to the first Thursday of each of the summer months. (Except for July and August when it's too freaking hot to be standing around outside.)

The rest of the summer will see lots of fun things going on at Barnett with bike night happening monthly and special events every Saturday. These will include live music, blood drives, car shows, pet adoptions, swap meets, and more.

There will even be jumping balloons and fun stuff for the little bikers. (NOTE: Bike Night parties are limited to those 18 and older.) You don't have to be a biker to enjoy these parties by the way, all are welcome. If you have always wanted a motorcycle, they have plenty there to show you.

There will also be a stationary Harley set up that you can go through the motions of riding without actually going anywhere. The goal is to create a circus-like atmosphere for people to enjoy. Mark Barnett told me he would have even picked up a good, used Ferris Wheel if the nearby power lines weren't so close.

There is certainly a lot to look forward to this summer at Barnett and elsewhere as our ability to gather together returns to more normal levels and local promoters once again organize big events.
