I've never been good at filling these things out, but here it goes. I like long walks in cold mountain air, preferably with snow on the ground. I enjoy drinking fine soda by the crackling fire, and deep tissue massage. I hope to one day grow up an become and astronaut, so I can fly to Venus to see if that's really where women come from. If it's true, I'll bring one back for you, too. Unless it's a dude you want, and then you're out of luck...sorry. My favorite month is October, because Halloween is the best holiday ever! It allows me to openly proclaim my love and obsession with scary movies without being seen as some sort of lunatic. Okay, not too much of a lunatic. I'm a huge fan of rock and metal music, and you'll often hear me blasting the control room speakers into oblivion every night during my show. My engineer doesn't like me very much, since he has to fix them. Sorry, Mike.

Yes, I Saw The Hobbit Last Night – And the HFR 3D Version is the Way to Go!
I think we can all be dorks about things from time to time. Some of us are dorks about our cars, guitars, movies, sports...we each have a total geek moment. Fantasy football players are just as dorky as D&D players, so don't think you're above the geek label. I happen to love movies, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy are some of the best movies ever made, so I've been incredibly excited about
England Rules – More People Are Followers of Heavy Metal as a Religion Than Scientology!
A recent census in England had some really cool results under the religion section. People claimed some amazing religions across the county, with "Jedi Knight" as the number one "other" religion followed in the UK. There was a push for that, as well as a push for people to put "Heavy Metal" as their religion, too. "Heavy Metal" beat out even "Scientolog
What Happens When Santa Has To Close Up His Workshop – Theocracy’s “All I Want For Christmas”
The economy is pretty messed up, but did you know it's gotten pretty grim for Santa, Frosty and the reindeer, too? I've been a fan of this band Theocracy since their first album, and they always release cool holiday music, too. Check out this one, called "All I Want For Christmas", where Santa just wants his old job back. You won't regret this.
King’s X Frontman Doug Pinnick Releases a Song for the Holidays Called…um…”Holiday”
Yesterday, I shared with you the Prog World Orchestra, and their holiday song "Frankenstein vs Santa", and today's song in from Doug Pinnick, the bassist and singer for King's X. It's a little more serious than yesterday's song, but still cool. It comes from his new digital-only release that also includes the song, "Ho Ho Ho". Enjoy!
Will The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Ever Get It Together And Get The Right Ones In?
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the biggest joke in music. Seriously. There are bands and musicians who should have been in a long time ago, and are eligible, but aren't inducted, so the hall can drag in disco and R&B musicians or relative unknowns. If the artist has never worked under the Rock and Roll banner, why should they be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Enjoy This Epic Battle Between Santa and Frankenstein – Have a Proggy Christmas [VIDEO]
It seems like more and more musicians get into the Christmas spirit every year. Last year, Corey Taylor put out his curse-laden Christmas song. This year, check out a funny video from the new CD "A Proggy Christmas" from the Prog World Orchestra. It's a fun melding of Edgar Winter and holiday music.
It's good to see people having fun with Santa.
Why Gift Cards For Everyone Are Not Lame Christmas Gifts
People (and by people I mean my family) always make fun of me for giving mostly gift cards during the holidays. It's like I cheated or something, not knowing what they wanted at that particular moment in time. And you know what? I think I'm okay with that. And here's why.

The Scorpions Kicked Off Ski Season With a Concert at the Top of a Mountain! [VIDEO]
I know it doesn't feel like it, with the crappy summertime weather happening around here right now, but this is technically ski season for the northern hemisphere. We may not have any snow, or in fact, any cool weather, but other places around the world do. To kick off ski season in Austria, the Scorpions rocked Ischgl in the Austrian Tirol on December 1st.
Rob Zombie’s New Movie “Lords of Salem” Finally Gets a Release Date
A lot of people have been waiting for Rob Zombie's next film, since the success of "House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects", and "Halloween". So, when he announced he was filming "Lords of Salem", there was a lot of excitement about it. That excitement sort of settled down a lot, since time has passed and he's gone back to music and touring. But now, t

Get ready to blow out your speakers with some Motorhead! New Rock Version of “The Grinch” by 16 Second Stare – How Often Do You Want KLAQ to Play It? [VIDEO]
It's almost Christmas, so there will be a ton of Christmas songs played everywhere, but not many as cool as this one. This is a cool, really heavy version of the classic "The Grinch". The band that recorded it is called 16 Second Stare, and we even have the music video for it! How much do you want to hear this song throughout the next weeks?
