AC/DC fans waiting on the edge of their seats for new music from the iconic band better get a little more comfortable. The band’s guitarist, Malcom Young, recently revealed in an interview that new music is in fact on its way…but it won’t see the light of day any time in the near future.

For many Halestorm fans, all they know is what the band is like onstage. But in a new video diary the band posted on YouTube this past week, fans get an inside glimpse of what the rockers are like behind the scenes.

In just a few more months, rock fans are in for the show of a lifetime when Motley Crue and Kiss hit the road together on their co-headlining trek, The Tour. The 40-date tour will kick off on July 20 in Bristow, Va. and is promised to be packed full of the same edge that both bands have always had.

To coincide with the release of their highly-anticipated new album, 12 Stones is gearing up to hit the road this spring along with Saliva and Royal Bliss. The trek will kick off on April 18 in West Springfield, Va. at the Empire, and is expected to continue on through May.

Metallica fans were able to get a sneak peak of Lars Ulrich‘s acting chops when he played a small role in 2010′s ‘Get Him to the Greek’ and on the big screen in Metallica’s 2004 documentary ‘Some Kind of Monster’ (both in which he played himself), but now the famed drummer is taking on a dramatic part in the new HBO film production ‘Hemingway and Gellhorn.’

Friday evening (Jan. 20), Metallica were the talk of the town in Los Angeles as they were on hand for the invitation only unveiling of the art exhibit Obey Your Master. The highly anticipated exhibition featured an array of famed artists who have interpreted various songs from the band in a unique fashion.

Good news for Guns N’ Roses fans who are anxious to get their hands on a new album. From the sound of things, the band will have new music out sometime within the new year. One thing they know for sure is the turn around time won’t take quite as long as it did with their last album, ‘Chinese Democracy.’

The long awaited return of Velvet Revolver may be approaching come 2012! The band’s drummer, Matt Sorum (also affiliated with Guns N’ Roses and the Cult), recently opened up about the current state of the supergroup that also includes GNR’s Slash and Duff McKagan alongside Dave Kushner formerly of punk band Wasted Youth.
