There are hundreds of Walmart stores all over Texas & you'll find everything you expect to find at a store: groceries, camping gear, babies, clothing...wait what? Yes, someone actually decided that they wanted to go into a Walmart to buy a BABY; as you would expect, it did NOT go well.

Who on Earth would want to buy a baby at a Texas Walmart?

That's a very good question. Perhaps the person to answer that is Rebecca Taylor; she was arrested in 2022 while allegedly trying to PURCHASE a baby at a Walmart in Crockett, Texas (about 2 hours from Houston, Texas).

According to eyewitnesses, Rebecca approached a woman, loved her 1-year-old baby's "blonde hair & blue eyes", and offered $250,000 for the child. The mother thought she was joking, and laughed it off. Rebecca then offered HALF A MILLION DOLLARS for the baby.

The mother feeling threatened (as any normal mom would be), fled to the parking lot, where Rebecca followed her, and threatened to TAKE the child by force.

Finally, the mom was able to call the police and they arrested 49-year-old Rebecca Taylor. She was charged with the 3rd-degree felony of attempting to sell or purchase a child. However... the police actually let her go after a $50,000 bond was posted. So far there haven't been any NEW stories on her, but I think this one pretty much cemented this woman's legacy...

She actually WAS interviewed by a local Fox News affiliate after she was arrested; it's uh...certainly a watch that's for sure...

The moral of the story? DON'T BUY BABIES!!! Come on man. Be better than that...
