Tis the season! It's finally December in the Borderland and that means it's time for some festive events to get that perfect selfie and to get you into the holiday spirit! Personally, I love this time of year; all the lights, the decorations, it really warms my cold little heart.
This holiday season, unlike last year, the Sun City is offering tons of events across the city for you to be merry and joyous. If you're on a budget but still want to join in on the festivities, well don't worry because I got you! Here are six fun, family friendly, and most importantly- FREE events!
Winterfest in Downtown El Paso
It may seem cheesy, but the lights and the decorations at San Jacinto Plaza really do get you into the spirit. There's ice skating and vendors; and the lights are perfect for that holiday selfie you know you want to take!
Free Christmas Movies at The Plaza Theater

If the Santa thing is too much for you, then how about a day with the mean one, Mr. Grinch? Vendors, food trucks and photos with the 915 Grinch will make this one a memorable weekend for your family!
