Halloween may be over but that doesn't mean we can't have one more good Halloween story for 2020. The El Paso Police Department is reporting a theft that turned into a robbery just a few days before Halloween. According to the police report, at 2:22 P.M., officers were called to 1319 George Dieter Dr. on October 29th. What followed sounds like beginning of a horror movie.

Apparently, officers learned that 31-year-old Erica Gracia stole something from the Spirit Halloween store that was currently occupying 1319 George Dieter Dr. Erica got into her car and sped off, but not before two employees ran after her in an attempt to stop the theft. Gracia then tried to run the two officers over. The employees were able to then detain her accomplice: 40-year-old Kai Alexander Miyauchi-Malichi; but not before Miyauchi-Malichi pulled out a knife and lunged at the two employees who were just trying to stop the theft. The employees followed Miyauchi-Malichi on food through the shopping center. Some time later though, both Gracia and Miyauchi-Malichi were located and taken into custody and subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. Check out their mugshot below:

They both totally look like someone who would rob a store, steal a cursed object and unleash an evil unknown to man, right? Although, Kai looks like Steve's evil brother, you know Steve? From "Blues Clues"? I digress.

El Paso's Bonnie & Clyde spent Halloween behind bars and probably will never get to enjoy whatever they attempted to steal from the Spirit Store! Unfortunately for us, the police report doesn't tell us what they tried to steal, but being a Spirit Halloween lover myself, I have some pretty good ideas as to what they could have taken.
