27 Hour I-10 Closure Happening This Sunday In West El Paso

Finally! We can see light at the end of the tunnel. We're in the end phase of the construction on I-10 in West El Paso and TXDOT's goal is to have the Go 10 Project's roadwork done by the end of this month. So less than two weeks! We still have two more 27-hour closures coming up, but at least we know that they may stop hindering your weekend plans before the summer is over. We have another 27-hour closure coming up this weekend so here are the areas you should avoid before heading out this Sunday:

This Sunday, June 30 from 3 a.m. until Monday, July 1st at 6 a.m., the main lanes of I-10 West will be CLOSED COMPLETELY between Executive Center Blvd and North Mesa. Sunland Park entrance ramp to the main lanes of I-10 West will be CLOSED. Schuster/UTEP entrance ramp to I-10 West will be CLOSED. People traveling I-10 West exit at Executive and travel to North Mesa Street. Follow North Mesa to re-enter I-10 West at the North Mesa entrance ramp. NOTE: Exit and entrance ramps may close up to one hour prior to the start time of an I-10 closure.
